BK Backyard Bar, formerly known as TailGate Outdoor Sports Bar (TailGate Brooklyn), was re-born Spring of 2023 after Fox Hospitality Group (FHG) Jarrod and Taylor Fox reconsidered what they love most about their space and what they wanted to offer the local Williamsburg community. Conversations always circled back to the same things: creating vibrant and eccentric events, a passion for establishing an inclusive space for the community, and a love for all things entertainment. FHG has always created unforgettable experiences, and the rebrand to BK Backyard Bar delivers that on all fronts.

FHG welcomed TailGate Brooklyn in 2021, a few months into the COVID-19 pandemic, wanting to bring back the joy of entertainment their community craved. TailGate Brooklyn grew famous for its buzz-worthy beverages, food trucks, lawn games, and the one-stop spot for NY sports enthusiasts to watch their favorite teams.
Now known for emphasizing community—BK Backyard Bar hosts top talent from Brooklyn's thriving nightlife scene, drag shows, dog-breed-specific meet-ups, or marquee sports-watching matchups—the 24,000 sq. Ft. backyard oasis is the ultimate destination for community, entertainment, and inclusivity for the whole family. With over 25 TVs, various seating sections (including picnic tables and private cabanas), and a state-of-the-art beach volleyball court, BK Backyard Bar is the premier space for New Yorkers to come together.
